Your data, and your clients' data
Where your studio's data lives, who can see it, how you take it away and why we never sell it. Security and privacy in Registro, explained without acronyms.

Someone who hands you a two-thousand-euro card is not only handing you the card. They leave you their name, their address, their phone number, photographs of a collection worth more than they tell people. Studio software that holds all of this has to earn it. This page says exactly how we treat it: no acronyms, and no promises we cannot keep.
The data is yours, and you can take it away
In the studio settings there is a button that downloads everything: clients, commissions, cards, defects, quotes, reports, photographs and documents. Rows come out as CSV, which any spreadsheet opens; photos and PDFs come out as files, with their names in place. If the studio is large the archive arrives in parts, and the page tells you which one is on its way.
There is no closed format, no request to file, nobody to convince. If one day you decide to leave, ten years of work leave with you.
Your archive is separate from every other studio's
Each studio lives in its own space, and that separation is written into the database, not into a filter in the application. In practice: if a row is not yours, the database itself refuses to return it, even to someone asking on purpose. It does not depend on a check a developer might forget on a new screen.
The same holds for your collaborators: each one signs in with their own account, and what they do stays recorded with their name and the time.
We do not read your work
Your cards, your internal notes, your price list and your clients' names are of no use to us, and we do not look at them. We do not pass them to anyone, we do not resell them, we do not use them to train artificial intelligence models. Registro is paid for by subscription: that is our revenue, and there is no other one hidden behind it.
The single exception is support, when you ask for it: if you write to us saying "look at this commission, something is off here", we look at that one.

The bulk of the archive — your clients' data and images — therefore stays in Europe.
Two things leave the Union, and we would rather write them here than let you find them out: delivering the application and composing the PDFs go through a provider based in the United States, and so do subscription payments. This happens under the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Names, roles and safeguards for every provider are listed one by one in the privacy notice: if you are seriously evaluating Registro, that table is the page to read.
Your client sees only what you decide
The client area shows the state of the cards, the quotes, the documents and the photographs you chose to share. Your internal notes, your margins, your other commissions and your other clients do not exist for them: they are not hidden behind a button, they are simply never sent.
The link they receive belongs to their own job and opens nothing else.
No tracking inside the application
Measurement cookies and advertising tools live only on the public pages of registrotcg.com, and only after the visitor has chosen. Inside the studio application, inside your client's area and on your public page no third-party script is ever loaded: the data in there belongs to your clients, and it is not something to hand an advertising network in exchange for a statistic.
Before the choice, nothing fires: no pixel, no silent call. Preferences can be changed whenever you like, from the foot of every page. The detail is in the cookie policy.
Your card details never reach us
The subscription is paid through Stripe, one of the most widely used payment systems in the world. The card number is typed on their pages and never enters our systems: of that payment we see that it went through, the amount and the renewal date, not the card.
When we part ways
If you close the studio, we remind you to export and then we delete. If you are a studio's own client and want to disappear from its archives, the request goes to the studio, which is the data controller for the work on your cards: we are the supplier that makes its software run. The relationship between the two is set out in the data processing agreement, which every studio accepts when it opens.
What to ask any studio software, before trusting it
This holds for us as much as for anyone else. Before putting ten years of clients inside a program, ask:
- How do I get out? If there is no complete export you can run yourself, you are a hostage.
- Who sees my data? There has to be a precise answer, with the names of the providers and the country they sit in.
- Where is the separation between clients written? In the database or in an application check: the first survives mistakes, the second does not.
- Is my data used for anything else? Advertising, resale, model training: that answer is to be read, not assumed.
- What happens if I stop paying? It must be clear how long you have to take your archive back.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my studio's data held?
The database is in Ireland and the photographs sit in European Union data centres. Email also goes out from Irish infrastructure. Delivering the application, composing the PDFs and taking payments go through United States providers, under the European standard contractual clauses: they are all listed in the privacy notice.
Can another studio see my cards or my clients?
No. The separation between studios is enforced by the database: another studio's row is not returned even to someone asking for it on purpose. No studio knows the others exist.
Can I export everything and leave?
Yes, whenever you like, without asking permission. From the settings you download clients, commissions, cards, defects, quotes, reports, photos and documents: tables as CSV, images and PDFs as files.
Do you use my data to train artificial intelligence?
No. Your studio's data does not train models, is not passed on and is not resold. Registro's only revenue is the subscription.
Can my clients see my cost prices or my notes?
No. The client receives only what you publish for them: the state of the cards, quotes, documents and shared photographs. Internal notes and margins stay in the studio.
Does Registro use profiling cookies inside the software?
No. Measurement and advertising tools live only on the public pages of the site, after consent. In the application, in the client area and on studios' pages no third-party script is loaded.
